Paul Didier
President and CEO
Paul has
been with United Way of Santa Barbara County since 1974. With his
previous experience as a Certified Financial Planner and real estate
broker, he has applied his market-driven innovations to United Way and
other non-profit organizations. He has also consulted with universities,
hospitals, environmental groups, and other social service agencies. |

Jerry Newton
Director for Financial Services
Jerry has been with United Way of Santa Barbara County since 1994. A
native of Santa Barbara, he has nearly 40 years of experience in the
finance/accounting field. Jerry worked as an auditor/tax preparer for a
local CPA firm in the 1960s, and later became the finance director of a
local television station. He has also managed his own
accounting practice in Phoenix, Arizona before returning to Santa
Barbara.

 Judy Goodbody
Gift Planning Services Officer
Judy has been with United Way of
Santa Barbara County since 2000. Judy is a Registered Investment
Principal and a licensed tax consultant. She was a credit union
investment advisor prior to joining the staff at United Way,
where she oversees endowment and gift planning programs and
assists donors and their professional advisors with complex
charitable giving.

Steve
Ortiz
Director for Workplace Development
Since 2005,
Steve’s responsibilities at United Way have included corporate
and workplace development, marketing, strategic planning,
volunteer management, event planning and the launch of the Young
Leaders Society. Steve completed three Bachelor Degrees at the
University of California Santa Barbara – Business Economics,
Global Studies with an emphasis in Socioeconomics and Politics,
and Spanish. Before joining United Way, Steve was the Financial
Manager for the Devereux Foundation, California Operations.
