Santa Barbara Bank & Trust with their North Star award for a Brilliant Increase in their campaign As of December 9, 2004, Santa Barbara County’s United Way has raised $2,218,397 towards a goal of $2,937,000, it was announced by Henry Dubroff, Annual Community Campaign Chair. Over 100 supporters celebrated the success at a holiday report reception meeting chaired by Cynder Sinclair, Girl Scouts of Tres Condados, and David Lamkin, Santa Barbara Regional Health Authority, at Fess Parker’s Double Tree Resort. Organization recognition awards were presented to Inogen, County of Santa Barbara, Deputy Sheriff’s Association, Santa Barbara Bank & Trust, Caesar and Seider Insurance Services, Fess Parker’s Double Tree Resort, NAUTRONIX MariPro, Santa Barbara City College, Santa Barbara Regional Health Authority, City of Santa Barbara, MTD, and several others. In addition, individuals John and Susan Hanna and Jim and Marcia Wolfe were recognized for their support of the Leadership from Home campaign. The United Way Community Campaign kicked off at the Day of Caring on September 18, 2004 and will culminate in the Victory Celebration scheduled for February 2005.
