On Saturday, September 28, 2013, United Way of Santa Barbara County coordinated the 22nd Annual Day of Caring – an opportunity to give back to the community through a morning of helping out the various nonprofits in our community. Following the Albertson's Kick-Off Breakfast at Ben Page Youth Center, teams of volunteers from across the county gathered to complete much needed tasks such as painting, landscaping, gardening, sorting goods and general repairs.
