| Viewing the Fun in the Sun
Thank You Book |
The Assistance League of Santa Barbara (ALSB) invited
United Way staff member Jennifer Lewallen to one of
its meetings to present United Way's Fun in the Sun Thank You book on
Monday, November 9. The ALSB outfits all of the Fun in the Sun kids for the summer every year,
at no cost to United Way or the families. The kids are provided
essentials such as underwear, t-shirts, bathing suits, sandals, towels,
coupons for tennis shoes at K-mart, and backpacks.
When Jennifer arrived, there were over
100 women present.
Needless to say, the Thank You book was a big hit with all of the women
in attendance.
