David Prichard Elected to Board of Directors

David
Prichard has been elected to the board of directors at United Way of
Santa Barbara County. Prichard is currently a Senior Vice President,
Private Client Advisor, and Market President for the Bank of America,
Santa Barbara and Ventura Counties.
Prichard moved to Santa Barbara from Corpus Christi, Texas in 1976 to
attend UCSB. He graduated in 1981 with a B.A in Business Economics and
Cultural Anthropology. He entered the banking business in 1981 with
First Interstate in Austin, Texas, before moving back to Santa Barbara
where he worked for Santa Barbara Bank & Trust and Sanwa Bank before
joining Bank of America.
Prichard is currently Chairman of the Leadership Giving Committee at
United Way and served on the Campaign Cabinet for two years. He also
volunteers on the Finance Committee at Tres Condados Girl Scout Council
and also serves on the board of Unity Shoppe.
Goleta residents, he and his wife, Cristina, have two children. Their
daughter Maria is a freshman at University of Southern California; their
son Daniel is a sophomore at Dos Pueblos High School.
