The Fund has raised over $434,000!
Over 500 individuals have given generously to help local survivors

Santa Barbara, Your Community Needs You!

• United Way is organizing a Collaborative Community Response to the Santa Barbara Tea Fire.
• United Way of Santa Barbara County has launched The Santa Barbara Tea Fire Response fund to help the affected communities recover from the devastating wildfire that has struck our area. 100% of your donation goes to those affected by the fires.
• United Way has a long history of helping the community during disasters just as we did with the Sycamore Canyon, Painted Cave, & Gap Fires.
• United Way is here to work with community partners to identify and provide assistance for unmet needs of the affected families and we will be here for the long term to support the whole community’s recovery.
Working together, we can rebuild our communities

Our giving process allows for gifts by check, by phone, by mail, by credit card or debit card, by Electronic Funds Transfer, or by gifts of stock or options. Online gifts are processed using secure 128 bit SSL encryption. To make a gift by mail, send your gift to:

Other Tea Fire Information

For information regarding the Tea Fire visit the Governor's Office of Emergency Services website.

Due to dangerous conditions, please do not travel to the areas affected by the fires without explicit instructions from a qualified emergency response organization. Go to www.volunteersbc.org for more information regarding potential volunteer opportunities.

In the days and months to come, longer-term recovery efforts will also be underway and in need of support. These services are best provided through coordinated efforts and it is critical that potential volunteers do not self-deploy. Please wait until there is a clear understanding of what volunteer resources will be needed and where.
