Stewart & Katherine
Abercrombie - Arriving to receive their tribute as 2002
Outstanding Leadership Volunteers
One hundred and twenty members of the Alexis
de Tocqueville Society and Leadership Circle gathered at the exquisite
new home of Coeta Barker in Birnam Wood on May 23rd. Coeta's
extraordinary support was exhibited in her desire that we hold the event
in spite of her hospitalization in the desert. We're glad to report that
she is doing just fine and is resting at home now.
Each year Alexis de Tocqueville Society and Leadership Circle members
from home and the workplace gather to celebrate and be recognized for
their contributions to the community. Leadership giving topped one million dollars this year from 450 members
to make up 36% of the 2001-2002 Community Campaign contributions.
