
United Way's United Learning Center is a tutoring program for local K-12 students.
This unique and effective learning experience is tailored to meet the specific literacy needs of every student.
Instruction by Experienced Tutors
At the United Learning Center, tutors asses every student before creating a customized learning plan. Tutors monitor student's progress, instructing and coaching them along the way. Tutors specialize in instruction for students with Dyslexia and similar learning challenges.
Individual Attention to Every Student
With a maximum student-to-teacher ratio of 2:1, each child receives maximum attention from a skilled educator.
Virtual and In-Person Tutoring
Tutoring can be done virtually or in a safe and clean in-person environment. Current in-person tutoring locations include Harding Elementary School and the United Way office.
Free Program
United Learning Center is a FREE tutoring program made possible by the generosity of United Way supporters.
