   One of United for Literacy’s newest expansions, the Goleta Literacy Partnership, has garnered strong support from local community members, including those who attended Red Feather Ball, as well as other businesses and individuals.

    The Charitable Foundation, a unique arm of Berkshire Hathaway, recently donated $2,000 to United Way of Santa Barbara County to help support the Goleta Literacy Partnership, which provides literacy tools and techniques to students in every school in Goleta Union School District.

     Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program is a free tax preparation service for individuals and families in Santa Barbara County.
